Propalock increases health and safety on construction sites

Propalock is a new locking system fitted to adjustable telescopic steel props for the control of temporary support, that can improve health and safety practices during construction work.

The adjustable telescopic steel props comprise of a large diameter screw thread on the outside of the outer (lower) tube, a collar nut to achieve fine adjustment along the thread, and a loose pin through a series of holes in the inner (upper) tube to give a wider range of adjustment.

It is manufactured in accordance with British Standard (BS 4074:1982 and current BS EN 1065:1999) designed to contribute to the security and management of safe working practices in temporary works/support situations during construction work.
