A rugged modular mounting system suitable for tractors, cars and all-terrain vehicles has been developed by Scanstrut and Sparex to help farmers and rural businesses stay within the law on handheld phones.
Designed for the world’s toughest environments, ROKK Mini is the most reliable mount for on-board technology securing smart phones, tablets, cameras and more, say the developers.
“With more than 30 years of engineering experience we’re now rolling out our ROKK range in partnership with Sparex, one of the largest international suppliers of agricultural parts and accessories,” says Tom Reed, managing director at Scanstrut.
“The ROKK Mini had a huge impact on the marine industry and revolutionised the way that people mounted personal and industry-specific technology. We know it will have the same effect in the agricultural sector, changing how people interact with these devices,” he added.
“It can withstand the harshest of enviornments which makes it extremely suitable for agricultural use. It’s modular, very easy to use and can be quickly moved from one vehicle to another. Attach it to any kind of surface and it won’t move unless you want it to,” says Reed.
As part of the launch into this new market Scanstrut is looking for a group of ROKK Agri Ambassadors to trial on their farms, in return for a free ROKK Mini kit.
