A 57 year old farmer from Northern Ireland had a lucky escape after his four year old Charolais bull turned on him whilst being loaded onto a trailer.
Luckily, the farmer Mr Ciaran McFadden was able to hide under a slurry tanker while the bull tried to overturn the trailer.
The ordeal lasted for over 15 minutes before Mr McFadden was able to call his neighbour from his mobile. The neighbouring farmer was able to get the animal way. Luckily the farmer suffered only an injured shoulder.
Mr McFadden says he hopes his ordeal will further increase awareness of how dangerous livestock can be.
